Yea, as part of his online teaching, Kris will teach all of the Bass lines he created in Penthouse to his online students.
It’s a unique concept, and one that will be very educational to his followers, as he also teaches why he plays the lines that he does, rather than just teaching the lines. That’s the important bit.

We have been filming and editing in-house for a while to complete the video for our track It’s Amazing. This has been something of an unusual task for a first release because the track is an epic at 10:45 in length. However, we are proud to have put the clip together by calling upon our own talents.

…a unique learning opportunity for his students.
As some of you maybe aware, Kris, the Bass player, songwriter and singer from Penthouse has his own Bass guitar tuition website, that is doing very well. he has literally taught thousands of people online, and has recently hit twenty thousand subscribers on his youtube channel!
The Penthouse project is something he wanted to create for his students, so they could learn practical applications of everything Bass-related that he teaches.

We have to get through the Open Golf traffic to get to Dave Neal’s Studio in Sandwich for the second to last rehearsal before playing live at Redwalls in Canterbury for the very first time in public.

…So recently, my band ‘Penthouse’ recorded with Dan Lucas at Anchor baby studios.
Penthouse is the musical voice of the TOWERS, and each piece of music is about a person that lives in a room within the Towers. So we don’t write songs in a typical fashion. They are more pieces of music.
So, we recorded two pieces. One was 7 minutes long, and one 10.
They day went without hitch. Even considering the length of these tracks. The studio has a laid back vibe about it, that would put any band at ease. Dan himself is professional, which is refreshing after what we have had to deal with in the past. His sound, in my opinion is second to none. The final mixes of the songs will be coming soon for you to hear.
We recorded in that studio over two weeks ago, and Dan has gone beyond the call of duty with these mixes. He’s fine tuned them to an art form.
I think that everyone in this band, who are no fools by the way, would recommend Dan. Infact, we will be booking more time in the late summer, and will consistantly do so.
Penthouse are fans of Anchor baby studios. Dan doesn;t know it yet, but he lives in the Towers…

Yup, Penthouse have their first gig!
It’s a nice laid back out door gig, which should suit us down to the ground. We have that ‘festival feel’ when we play. The band are really looking forward to this…
